The book is unnecessarily dark, like the author had depression or like he thought the only way to connect to kids was to make a needlessly brutal - poorly written book. I actually really like this kind of book sometimes, a dark, traitorous, captivating novel, but he makes it dark in a way that would need a genius to execute. His plot and the very feel of the book could be amazing, bit his descriptions of horror, betrayal, suffering, darkness etc. are so badly written that it just falls short. It's not... terrible per se, but it's not great.

The story is good, but ravenpaw should have gotten his warrior name before he left, because he leaves before he gets it. I also do not know why Spottedleaf dies, and I was left to question if Spottedleaf was actually a Kittypet in the begining. (I'm sugestin' that you write a book.) I also wish that there was a better selection of deputys, and it takes shorter than expected. I wish that there was a longer time that there Lionheart was deputy, because it was obvious that Tigerclaw hated Fireheart. (probably 'cause his dad was a kittypet when Tigerclaw was a kit.) But, it gives you a chance to see what Fireheart thought.

I feel just like it's still a good book on Google I guess, but mostly the way it's described in or better yet on Google it's not as captivating as in reading it, but oh well the book is still good nonetheless also if you play warrior cats game's I suggest most should play warrior cats ultimate edition (wcue) on Roblox btw.
