I bought this book for my children about 25 years ago,I loved the Moral of the Story(this book has been around & Rewritten in shorter versions for many years) My Daughter & My Son Both Enjoyed This Book,and I was Happy to find it againfor my 1st Granddaughter when she is ready for Storytime! 10-10-2015.

I'm a country southern preacher and I think the devil himself wrote this book how do they allow kids to read stuff like this

This was my all time favorite book as a child! An I've read it to my oldest son,now to my baby boy.

About the author

He’s also had the opportunity to modernize the classic The Little Engine That Could by Watty Piper and had the distinct honor of illustrating Of Thee I Sing by President Barack Obama.

A graduate of the American Academy of Art in Chicago, Loren lives in Ohio with his wife, Tracy, and their two sons.
