About this ebook

"It's all so easy," Billy was thinking. "So nice and easy the way they're playing it. Taking their time to get me out of here. Nobody making trouble. No guns, nothing. Not a bad way to grab a buck... not bad at all... good sun...food... lie in the sun... take a little nap."

...Which was just what they L were waiting for.

Here is Wayne Overholser's story of a kid who learned to be a man too soon, and never learned how to run.
