I’m really enjoying this entertaining, Omegaverse reverse harem series featuring several gods, goddesses and demi-gods of Norse mythology. ‘Weaving Fate’ picks up exactly where ‘Ragnarök Rising’ left off. Annabel has joined Bjarni Lokisson and Modi Thorsson in their quest to return Loki to Valhalla, as per Odin’s command. I’m not sure which will be the greater challenge though – out-maneuvering the trickster god or convincing Modi to re-think his inherent attitude towards omegas. I love Annabel – her feisty nature, her determination to succeed as well as her courage in the face of danger. For an itty-bitty human, she sure packs a lot of punch! The story is well written and the characters are compelling. There’s plenty of drama, action & adventure, danger, magic, mythology, suspense and humour. There’s also some snarky banter and dirty talk too, along with some graphic Alpha/Omega encounters including ménage, but no M/M action. I’m looking forward to the next installment in this highly adventurous tale. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review.

*Spoilers* Big fan of Nora’s writing and this is by far the best of her work that I’ve read. In this book, Annabel is forced to leave her two mates behind and return to Midgard to capture Loki in exchange for her mates’ freedom. Bjarni and Magni join her on this quest but keep butting heads. The challenge however is quite difficult as Loki is after all the god of mischief. The alphas also find the call of fate to be irresistible when it comes to the fierce omega. I was happy this book focused mostly on building the story rather than just the sex. Also we get to see the feelings of the characters and understand why they act in a certain way. I felt Grim was kind of abandoned and not mentioned a-lot in this book but if the ending is anything to go by, we’ll be seeing more of him in the next one. Overall, this was an interesting read which I really enjoyed. Looking forward to the next release. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

The perfect blend of suspense, action, heat & humour is what makes this a fantastic, five star read. Before reading this book, I first did a quick re-read of Ragnarök Rising (book 1 in this series) and would recommend others do so too - READ BOOK 1 FIRST! After their arrest, the 3 Lokisson brothers & Magni’s only hope is if Annabel, Modi and Bjarni complete a challenge set out by Odin himself. I loved how even though Bjarni is known to be the brawn & fighter amongst the Lokisson brothers, he is actually the gentle one & loves to cook for his Omega but pushed too far, then yes, that fighter in him comes out with a vengeance. Modi Thorsson is most definitely a warrior & tries his best to ignore Annabel & what he sees as “only instincts” but there is also more to him but can Annabel break through to him? Written from a multiple POV, it is a fast burn (steamy) RH Omegaverse romance, with a slight dub con warning & ends on a cliffhanger. This is my honest review of an arc I received.
