B.J. Daniels blew me away with this masterfully crafted romantic suspense story! I cannot tell you how many times I had to restrain myself from jumping ahead in the book because I was DYING to know what was going to happen! There’s no way I could describe this story without giving away spoilers so I’m going to refrain from details. What I can tell you is that this book will knock your socks off! Jackson Cardwell is so dreamy! If you think chivalry is dead, you obviously haven’t met the Cardwell men. The book can totally be read as a standalone but your curiosity—like mine—will have you putting the rest of the Cardwell books on your TBR (to be read) list! This is my second read from B.J. Daniels and I am thoroughly enchanted. I’d give it 10 Stars if I could! I HIGHLY recommend this book for anyone who enjoys a solid story, engaging characters, beautifully tempered romance and a mystery that will leave you breathless! ***I was gifted an eBook copy from the publisher via Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.
