Weekend Wife by Erin McCarthy is a fake fiancée romantic comedy that I listened to on audio narrated by Laura English and Gavin McAllister. This is the first book in the Sassy In The City series and can be read as a standalone. This is the first book of Erin's that I have read and it won't be my last. I was pulled in from the first chapter and couldn't help but listen in one sitting. I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Grant and Leah. Laura and Gavin did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future. I would recommend this book if you like romantic comedies, fake fiancée romances, or contemporary romances. The Flock Team Audiobook Obsession Reviewer

4.5 Stars This was hilarious and at times unreal which made it funnier. I fell in love with Grant and Leah way too fast. Grant is a anti-commitment billionaire who is an overall likable guy. He is just upfront with any woman that he is not interested in a relationship. Leah is working as a waitress until her next break as an actress hits. It’s not that she isn’t talented, she is beyond a doubt. This new role Grant offers is too good to be true. This was an addictive quick and easy read. Light on the angst which I love.

Loved the book! Two people from different places fall in love with each other. Very light and whimsical. Was hard to put the book down. Kept me wondering what was going to happen next with those two.
