 A look inside of what truly goes on in the Projects once the Streetlights come on. The story takes place in a St. Louis city Projects that’s known for drugs, money, & murder. The story is about three lifelong friends who experience both tragedy and triumph as they try to escape the only life they’ve ever known for a lifestyle they know nothing about. The main character, Tyrell Biggs, a young up and coming rapper/producer and known hustler attempts to overcome the many stresses of life, family, and friends. As he attempts to balance his time & energy with the music, drug dealing, and family, he soon finds that the three are a deadly combination. He then embraces his passion for the music and tries to erase his addiction for the money, only finding himself thrust in a paradox of stress, death, and tears. Shortly after losing his mom and best friend his girlfriend leaves him to raise a child on his own. Now forced with many difficult decisions Tyrell’s writings and music becomes his only outlet of expression. As visions of his past haunt his memories his writing and music becomes more personal yet more accepted by his peers. Eventually reaching him to the stratosphere of stardom….
