I've read a lot of books written by Wendy Meadows; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books. This is the first book in the Cherry’s Cozy Capers Series; it is a stand-alone book. The story is about Cherry trying to prove her innocence after she inherits the local bar when the owner Bernie is murdered.

What an eclectic group of characters to follow along as the clues unfold to find out who done it. There are so many twists and turns that it keeps you guessing until the end. There is a little bit of humor as well. Good read. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
