I understand that this is a short story, however, it was way too fast. This story felt rushed and there was no backstory or depth of characters or emotion. I think this would be so much better if it was longer and was more prolonged. This was really well written it was just too rushed. I received a early copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

When Lincoln is home on short stay from deploy and to crooked creek the first person he wants to see is his long term friend Noah but for Lincoln noah more than a friend he's in love with him, the story is quite fast pace both declaring and their love for one another and going off into the sunset together practically (hawaii) a good short story of finding a your soul mate. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Lincoln and Noah are long-time best friends who are at the jumping point of something really good. These men are sweeter than apple pie. This was a really quick, but very steamy read. Despite the brevity of the book, the story was rich in details that painted a picture that put me right into the middle of it. You can really tell that the MC’s know each other very well and not only is their affection and friendship apparent, but you could feel their love as well. Really good, but quick read.
