Had high hopes that this story would be interesting. However it soon became annoying due to the shallow character of the main protagonist. All he banged on about was his needy spoiled wife back in the "real" world. Infuriatingly boring. Descended into pure dreck, so I ended up skipping many pages. Not enthralling at all. Hope the afterlife is not like this book portrays it.....awful. Pure hell, like reading this book !! Rather burn in hell forever, than have to read it again. Awful.

If the story was told through a different lens, it might have been more enjoyable. My imagination was inspired by some of the ideas in this novel; but, in the end, I just don't appreciate the pretension of fact.

It may or may not be true, but the story it tells is one of great hope and warning. Taken with a grain of salt this book may just change your perspective a bit.
