BRANDON SANDERSON was born in 1975 in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was finishing his thirteenth novel when Tor Books bought the sixth he had written, Elantris. Tor also published six books in Brandon’s Mistborn series, along with Warbreaker and then The Way of Kings and Words of Radiance, the first two in the planned ten-volume The Stormlight Archive. Five books in his middle-grade Alcatraz vs. the Evil Librarians series are being released by Starscape. Brandon was chosen to complete Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time series, culminating in A Memory of Light. His YA novels include The Rithmatist from Tor Teen and the Reckoners trilogy from Delacorte, which concluded with Calamity. Currently living in Utah with his wife and children, Brandon teaches creative writing at Brigham Young University. He also cohosts the Hugo Award-winning writing advice podcast Writing Excuses.
RIK HOSKIN is a comic book writer and novelist from England. He has written Superman, Star Wars, Doctor Who, Shrek, and Mercy Thompson, and helped develop a successful Spider-Man title aimed at younger readers. He has recently written two animated “motion comics” for BBC Children’s Television Drama and a graphic novel for India based on The Mahabharata. Rik also collaborated with Brandon Sanderson on the comic book adaptation of Mitosis. As a novelist, Rik has written Hercules, the Legendary Journeys, and was the primary writer on the Outlanders science fiction series under the pen-name “James Axler”.
JULIUS GOPEZ began his career with work on Wetworks for Wildstorm, and quickly followed that up with work on Gears of War, Team 7, Superboy, Ravagers, and an 8-issue run on Red Hood and the Outlaws. Julius lives and works in the Philippines.
