There are so many inaccuracies and confusions by the author herself, that if I really wanted to discuss how bad this book was, it would take me pages after pages in a critical essay to do so. If you really want to learn about Wicca, I suggest you start with Thea Sabin's Wicca for Beginners. D.J Conway does not know what she's talking about. Her history on Wicca and Witchcraft are so far off the mark, I want to bawl out my eyes. She thinks Wicca and Witchcraft are interchangeable, no, they aren't.

This book is just excellent. All the rituals, and history explained in depth. There aren't many spells in it but other than that it's perfect for a beginner. I would highly recommend it.
