I dont know how Sawyer Bennett does it - each book in the Wicked Horse Vegas series is better than the last and Wicked Choice is right now my favorite. The story is full of heart with relatable characters and a great backdrop of a hot sex club and the life of mercenaries out in the field. Rachel Hart and Bodie Wright are mercenaries who work for The Jameson Group when on a mission things get heated that change their lives and forever linking them - Rachel is pregnant. Rachel knows that she doesn't want to be a mom while Bodie a family guy is willing to take the baby and raise him alone; but as Rachel and Bodie spend more time together (both inside and outside Wicked Horse) their feelings start to grow and Rachel who was so sure she didn't want to be a mother is now finding herself second guessing everything she thought to be true. Sawyer Bennett has also done a fantastic job setting up her characters but Wicked Choice to me is by far her best. Told in dual POV's we get to see what Bodie and Rachel are going through and why they make the choices they do. I ended up really rooting for this couple - Bodie with his quiet patience and Rachel's fiercely independent nature. Oh, and both being bada** doesn't hurt. I also loved meeting the new characters part of Jameson Group and seeing Jerico and Kynan again. I cant wait to see what else Ms Bennett has planned for this group.

Get ready to swoon for Bodie Wright! He was the perfect hero in the newest installment of the Wicked Horse Vegas series. This is book 4 in the series, but can be read as a stand alone. Sawyer Bennett tells you right from the start that this story is going to be a bit different from the previous books. It still has lots of sexy times and engaging and lovable characters, but the actual Wicked Horse sex club takes a bit of a backseat this time around. Instead, the focus is on the struggles of our hero and heroine and the elite Jameson Group. I really enjoyed this more tame romance (compared to the other books) and Bodie wins for my favorite hero so far. He really couldn't have been more perfect and was just the right amount of alpha and sweetheart. Rachel was also a great heroine, struggling with societal norms and her desire to march to the beat of a different drum. I loved watching their relationship develop slowly and steadily from something casual to something truly remarkable. Probably the most refreshing thing about the story though were the spins that Bennett took on common romance tropes. Rachel was not the typical heroine you encounter. She is 9 years older than our hero and it is actually Bodie, the eternal family man, who is more invested in having and raising a child. Of course, this only made Bodie more endearing. The epilogue was sweet and left me wanting more. I hope this isn't the last time we see these two! *I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book*

Rachel Hart is a bad a$$ mercenary with the Jameson Group. She has never wanted to be that female who settles down and raises a family, but rather the carefree adrenaline junkie looking for her next fun time. After Rachel barely escapes from a life and death mission with her co-worker Bodie Wright, Rachel's emotions are running high, along with a buzz she has from the four shots of bourbon she drank. When Bodie comes to check on Rachel in her hotel room, things quickly from a professional relationship to a lust filled one. What neither of them expected was that this hook up would 1.) knock their socks off and 2.) end up in a pregnancy that neither of them wanted at this point in their lives. After some long discussions, Rachel agrees to carry the baby, but wants nothing to do with raising it. Bodie has decided that he wants this baby and will raise it on his own, but secretly hopes that by the time the baby is born, Rachel will change her mind. In the meantime, they both agree to keep a physical relationship and since they both love their memberships at The Wicked Horse Vegas, it starts to make things more intense. As Rachel and Bodie start to spend more time together, Rachel starts to rethink all the things in her life that she always thought that she wanted and Bodie starts to think he may have just found all the things he has wanted in his life. I really enjoyed Rachel and Bodie. Rachel was such a strong willed female and because of her past, she was very closed up. Bodie on the other hand was such an open and loving guy. Together these two made such a great pair and I really loved the road these two took to get to their happy ending. I'm also excited to see that there will be more books in this series as well as a new spin off series!
