About this ebook

A Short, Practical, No-fluff Guide to Kick-Start You on Your Journey to Success

If you want to make money and you don’t know how to start, this book is for you. The internet is full of get rich schemes and bad advice on how to start making money. Good advice is rare, but this personal account of how I managed to create my own online success story can become your blueprint too.

 • A True Inspirational Success Story

 • Strategy and Why You Need One

 • Plan Your Way to Online Success

 • Set Yourself on the Right Track

 • The 4 Practical Steps You Must Take

This story is an allegory that follows my personal journey, describing how I built an online income from scratch. Read it today and begin your journey to success, the right way. Because it may be true that you are a badass, but you want to start making money ... and to do that, you need to stop thinking and start planning!

Background for the Book

This book was previously published by White Dove Books (2011) as The Making of a Warrior, back when was when I was an active member of the Warrior Forum, hence the warrior reference in the title. It was my first attempt, as a writer, to tackle the medium of allegory and, as I enjoyed the writing so much, it has become a style with which I continue to work.

After writing the book, I noticed a discussion at the Warrior Forum about the meaning of the story and I found it interesting to note the various interpretations put forth at the time. My second allegory The Lucifer Letters similarly attracted some interesting interpretations. It is one of the things that fascinates me, as I continue to explore the form.

There are a number of business lessons embedded within the text of the Badass story, including the importance of a strategy and a unique selling proposition (USP). Whilst I am no relation (as far as I know) to the late William Edwards Deming, the inclusion of a slightly tweaked version of the Deming Cycle (Plan, Do, Check, Tweak) gave me special pleasure and, with my name, it seemed fitting that I should have my own version.

About the author

Will Edwards is an acclaimed writer of inspirational non-fiction, but he also writes business books and dabbles in a number of other genres including allegory. Born and raised in the north of Liverpool, he attended the ‘tough old school’ he wrote about in his first novel Fergus and Me. With some of the teachers bordering on psycho, he describes his outstanding achievement of the early part of his life as, simply, surviving it.

He eventually completed the formal part of his education, graduating from the University of Birmingham and travelled the world with the British company Apricot International. He became Technical Manager of the company and a lifelong member of the British Computer Society before finally discovering his life purpose: to inspire and encourage other people to live more meaningful lives, find their true calling and 'go for' their dreams.

His passion for personal development led to the launch of his hugely successful website and publishing imprint, White Dove Books. These days, he lives in a converted old barn nestled into the beautiful Exe Valley in the English county of Devon where he does most of his thinking, walking and writing. In his spare time, he likes to write songs and he can often be seen singing and playing guitar or piano at local musical events.
