Makalyn was kind and sweet-hearted; she listened and followed the rules and guidelines set by her parents and religion, and eagerly found the good in life, always looking to please. Jase was rough. He had no future ahead of him, no family support whatsoever, and was condemned by society for reasons he knew not.
