About this ebook

When zombies swarm Houston, Dave and Chris Thompson find themselves stranded on the top floor of the Liberty Medical Center, with nowhere to run and no help in sight. With Dave's broken leg making movement impossible and the disintegration of civilization accelerating around them, they have to act fast, or be consumed by the seething horde below.

Note: This story is about 10,000 words, or 36 pages long in paperback. It serves as a bridge between Fire and Earth, but can be read standalone, or even before Fire if you wish. If you want to save a dollar, skip this one and pick up the Elements of the Undead Omnibus, which combines the first three books in the series (Fire, Air, and Earth) into one 397 page volume.

Book 1 -  Fire: The Collapse
Book 2 -  Air: Mortal Choice
Book 3 -  Earth: Desperate Measures
Book 4 -  Water: The End of Us

The Elements of the Undead Omnibus (Books One - Three)

25 pages, and a single story / episode centered on a single character. This continuity was easier on me than book 1, but 25 pages makes it difficult to buy book 3...

Wayyyyt too short, but great! It kept me on edge.I would like to know the rest. Read it twice so far. Think Dave will die anyway, koz there was an infected in the helicopter. I wanted more, so much more. It was my kind of story, but I'm a bit disappointed. I'm not sure I will buy book 3, bkoz it might be 25 pages or less as well.

About the author

William Esmont writes about zombies, spies, and a future you probably wouldn't want to live in from his home in southern Arizona. He counts Stephen King, Vince Flynn, and Margaret Atwood as his influences. When not writing, he likes to spend time hanging out with his wife and their two Great Danes.
