About this eBook

When wolf shifter Colt Hanson plunges off a cliff, he’s expecting to be roadkill. Fortunately, someone mistakes him for a dog and brings him to the town’s veterinary clinic. He’s not happy about waking up in a dog kennel, but when he opens his eyes and sees his fated mate, he knows things are finally looking up.

Dr. Valerie Lupa doesn’t believe in fated mates or any kind of mates for that matter. She’s an independent wolf and she likes her life just the way it is. There’s no way she’s going to submit to Colt, no matter what her wolf side is telling her.

As the two shifters sniff around each other, the pull of their attraction proves too much to resist. With a little help from their friends, they just might be able to dip their paws into a relationship that will last longer than the full moon.

“Wolf Doctor” is book one in the “Bite-Sized Shifters”, a series of paranormal romantic comedies you can read in just a few hours. Each book in the series is standalone featuring a mature couple, steamy scenes, a lot of fur and claws, and a guaranteed HEA.

Finding His Mate (the Hard Way) . . . Colt Hanson loved being a wolf. He shifted easily and ran full-out, almost flying over the ground. He smelled a rabbit in the woods and took off in that direction, tracking it. When his wolf spotted it and put on more speed, the ground suddenly disappeared as he overshot the cliff’s edge and was falling. He hit the road below him, heard brakes squealing, and his body flew through the air again as his bones broke. The man who got out of his truck was going to shoot the dog/wolf since he didn’t think it would survive. But his wife insisted they take the dog to the vet to give him a chance. The man argued about the danger and Colt passed out before he could find out who won the argument. Colt Hanson and Dr. Valerie Lupa are both wolf shifters. As a veterinarian, she treats his extensive injuries when he is delivered to her clinic. As his eyes opened briefly, he saw an angel gently petting him as the man explained what happened. Just before he passed out again, his wolf whispered “mate”. Colt had lost a lot of blood and had internal injuries, but he was a shifter so she could not just “put him down” as she would have done to a wolf in this condition. Those thoughts made her own wolf frantic and she told her to save him. He was their mate, even though Valerie didn’t believe in that. She would never give up her independence to submit to another. Would she be able to save his life? If she did, would he be able to convince her they are really mates? Grab your copy and see who wins that argument!

This is the first story in a new paranormal shifter series. It is a short and quick read about fated mates Valerie and Colt; both are shifters. An accident brings these two together. As soon as he sees her he knows she is his mate. He is in bad shape but even her wolf knows. She fights the truth and he fights for her. This is a good story.
