Haven't quite finished reading this, but it's fascinating. Never thought someone would write a beginner's book and cover house building and boat making.

Excellent book demonstrating the techniques regarding what, with practice, can be accomplished with wood working hand tools only. Also includes a great appendix detailing various types of wood and their best uses.
