I don't even know what I want to say about this series anymore cos it's now my favourite series ever. 😂 Leon is still a huge moron but he's adorable tho, he really does need to face his feelings and actually tell his future wives he loves them properly. Dude hadn't even taken them on any dates or spent any actual time with them as a fiancé... Shameful. 😂

I love the series so it will continue to get 5 stars from me! However just because older brother wants to be a hero doesn't make him one! Mentality-wise he was a dead duck before he got in the armor. I'm less than halfway through the book, and I hate everything that has gone down with Leon. Typically, that was a good thing for the first 4 to 5 books, not so go for last couple of volumes. BTW, pulled a face is NOT a saying in English! It is "made a face"! I saw it in a previous volume and thought it was an oversight/ mistake/ typo! With it now being used numerous times in this volume, it is very annoying, and I'm not even halfway through yet! Honestly the Nicks story was really, really better than OK until they tied up Leon. Actually having him or his dad help Nicks defeat the pirates would have been much cooler for all involved, especially since it would have been like dealing with the five idiots! 🙄 Back to the book! Honestly the author treated Nicks like a fool too. Everyone knows the author likes to give backhanded compliments, right!? Honestly this is just a filler book! I love the series so I enjoyed it but did this book advance the storyline/plot? Not really! Literally I think they don't even make it through one Springbreak so time-wise there no chance for something meaningful to happen. Diedre and Claire show up in this book! I've missed both!

It's basically an intermission book that does some character and relationship growth, and stuff like that. Probably not the most necessary read since everything is contained to this single book for the most part, but it isn't bad at all. Still enjoying the series and can't wait for the next book!
