About the author

Andrew Taylor worked in schools in Gloucestershire for 16 years as a class teacher, assistant headteacher and deputy headteacher. He is an experienced coach and mentor, having acted as a lead mentor for early career teachers in schools. Andrew now works for the University of Worcester, supporting trainee teachers and helping to improve the provision for ECTs. Andrew holds a BA in Education Studies, a PGCE, an MEd in Inclusive Education and a PGCert in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education.
