Doreen continues to entertain with her pets, grandmother and detective skills. I'm sure she never imagined this mystery crossing her path but she handles it with her usual affinity for delving into the cause and now even attempts to remove her name from the possibly guilty status. Her antics with Mack, her grandmother, the neighbor and actually with everyone keeps this story a super fun read! Very entertaining!. As the next to last book in this series, you know going in that things are reaching the boiling point. Once again, Doreen, Mack, Nan and her menagerie of scene stealing animals take center stage amidst a captivating story that hit too close for comfort. You can expect plenty of mystery, emotion, drama, humor, intensity and twists as this highly entertaining and powerfully intriguing read unfolds.

I love this series. Each book allows us to see growth in Dorene, the love of her pets and grandmother Nana, and the her special relationship with Mack. This book, Yowls in the Yarrow, has a major discovery and changes in many relationships. I had a problem putting this book down. Bravo!.
