About this ebook

From the pinnacle of success to the depths of despair, a fallen billionaire playboy finds a second chance in the most unexpected place. In 'He's So Bad: A San Francisco Love Story,' the sixth enthralling installment in the LOVE in the USA Contemporary Romance Series by Z.L. Arkadie, redemption is more than a word; it's a collision with destiny.

Once, I had everything—or so I thought. Wealth, women, and the wild lifestyle of a billionaire playboy. But reckless choices have consequences, and I hit rock bottom, losing everything I held dear. Resigned to my fate, my resolve was unshakable until an unforeseen opportunity from an old friend proved I still had something to fight for.

Enter Carter Remington—undeniably captivating, fiercely independent, and my complete opposite. I know I should steer clear; I've already crossed lines that should never have been blurred. She deserves better, especially since she's not just a rare beauty but also the cherished cousin of my once-burned ally. Professional lines are set for a reason, and as her boss, it's my duty to stay uninvolved. But every moment in her presence pulls me closer, making resistance impossible.

Dare I risk it all again for a chance at redemption? What could possibly go wrong when I give in to the temptation of Carter Remington?

'He's So Bad: A San Francisco Love Story' is a tale of lost glory, unwavering friendship, and the healing power of love. Join this flawed hero as he battles inner demons, grapples with forbidden attraction, and embarks on the perilous path to self-forgiveness and an unexpected, life-altering love.

Disappointed. Spoiler alert ... Based on the SF in the title and the text of the blurb I had expectations relating to the "best friend / buddy / cousin" but Carter never displayed interest that I could detect in establishing a menage or beginning a harem. Nor was the book about revealing our hero's journey into the Rainbow. As a purely hetero story it's pretty much Ok.

I'm confused. In the book when he finally sleeps with Maggie he tells her not to worry about getting pregnant cause he got "snipped" before Vince. But here with Carter he uses a condom because he doesn't want to bring offspring into the world. I hope the same mistake happens with Vince and Maggie! I would love for them to have a baby. Sorry for spoiler! Just had to get it out.

Fantasic read. This is Robert Tango story and we all love to hate him. But this book is of his redemption, perseverance, and vindication. His story does not disappoint, it is sexy, dramatic and angst filled. I can't wait to read the next book.

About the author

Z.L. Arkadie keeps her billionaire romance spicy, intense, and emotional. She loves writing trilogies and duets connected by siblings of a mysterious family with secrets to hide. But she'll also write standalone romance books. No matter what type of series she's crafting, Z.L. feels it's her job to keep you on the edge of your seat, engaged in her stories until the very end. You'll see billionaire romance tropes like enemies to lovers, best friend's brother, and second chance romance when Z.L. Arkadie is writing the story.

I also love to cook. I love a fine dining experience, you know Top Chef style, but without the fine dining price tag. And I love a good book that has the power to take me somewhere I’ve never been. But most of all, I love kindness.
