My what a sequel! Paisley's deception at infiltrating Hercules company is finally coming to fruition, but the longer she plays this game, the heavier the guilt and betrayal! Caught between family loyalty and the chemistry between her and Hercules, Paisley is really caught between a rock and a hard place, and I truly felt for her yearning to be free to finally not only be herself, but to be with the man she loves. The deeper she gets, the more you realise secrets between these families run deep. I kept my fingers crossed for the star crossed lovers throughout! I only hope once the darkness comes to light, Hercules can forgive her betrayal. I received this copy as an arc reviewer.
