Before she can return, Morgan abducts her and takes her to his forgotten lands in the hopes of persuading her to help him bring Arnost to justice. Yet how can he hope to convince someone who has no memory of him, nor of the friendship they once shared?

But Caya does remember him—though that doesn’t mean she trusts him. An alliance may be just what she needs to expose Arnost and save both their kingdoms, but how can she trust that Morgan doesn’t intend to use her for his own ends?

I enjoyed the book. The idea of being totally forgotten is new to me and I found it to be refreshing and interesting. I would recommend this book and look forward to the next book.

Nicole has progressed from scribbling in notebooks to banging on keyboards, but she’s never managed to stop daydreaming at inappropriate moments.

When not answering the demands of her characters, Nicole can often be found curled up with a good book or spending far too many hours acting the hero in whatever video game is her obsession of the moment.

One of Nicole’s other great passions is travel. She loves being married to a native Belgian because it gives her plenty of excuses to visit Europe—that wondrous land of coffee, chocolate, pastry—as often as possible.

Michigan born and raised, Nicole lives there with her honorary Michigander/Belgian husband and her children.
