作者竭尽全力，揭示的刘文彩事件真相，仍不能说是全部真相。揭示其他一些真相，就不是作者力所能及——至少不是作者现在力所能及的。只好写到这种程度，这是作者深深惭愧的。但愿能够尽量早一天补救。
