About this ebook

Now a major BBC series.

‘Without this child, we shall all die.’

Lyra Belacqua lives half-wild and carefree among the scholars of Jordan College, with her daemon, Pantalaimon, always by her side.

But the arrival of her fearsome uncle, Lord Asriel, draws her to the heart of a terrible struggle – a struggle born of stolen children, witch clans and armoured bears.

As she hurtles towards danger in the cold far North, Lyra never suspects the shocking truth: she alone is destined to win, or to lose, the biggest battle imaginable.

Really good book, and a piece of literature that i feel adults and children can enjoy together. The aimiable lyra and the travels and experiences she has are hard to forget and Philip Pullmans amazing writing really comes into play with the descriptition and excellent story telling.

Bought this but no download and no refund. BAD BAD BAD. Nearly a week before credit returned. You'd think they'd say for all your trouble have the book on us, No and we have all invested so much in them, huh.

I have the real life copy and I have to say it is a great adventure. My only problem was that the end was kinda anti-climactic, but that is because there are two more books.
