About the author

Joanna Toye joined the production team of The Archers from Cambridge in 1980 and was Senior Producer when she left to go freelance in 1995. Having written for the programme in the mid 1980s, she rejoined the writing team as a regular scriptwriter in 1998. She has written five Archers novelisations and is the co-author of The Archers Encyclopaedia.
