About the author

Abigail Samoun was an in-house children's book editor for over ten years before transitioning to agenting and opening Red Fox Literary with Karen Grencik in 2011. In her twenty-year career in children's books, Abi has worked on just about every format and genre imaginable, from novelty books to graphic novels, nonfiction to young adult novels. She is the author of What's in Your Purse? (Chronicle Books, 2014), the Little Traveler board book series (Sterling Publishing, 2014), and a graphic novel biography of Nicola Tesla, Mind Afire. Abi also created the card game Old Mummy, available from Chronicle Books. Abigail lives in Northern California with her entomologist husband and two wild little boys.

Kelly Anne Dalton is an artist, illustrator and storyteller living in the wild mountains of Montana. Her elegant and enchanting work can be found on everything from board books to middle grade novel covers, home decor and gift products, and stationery lines. When not drawing, daydreaming, and creating new stories and characters, Kelly Anne can be found trail running in the forests near her home.
