About the author

MARISA DINOVIS is a children’s book editor and a lifelong women’s sports fan. She is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, where she studied English literature, Spanish language, and by default, basketball. Marisa lives outside of Boston with her wife and their mini golden doodle, Maple.

JOANIE STONE was born and raised in Virginia, where she still lives today with her husband and young daughter. She spends her days painting in her studio in the country, surrounded by nature.
