This was a quick, short read about a human, Kaia, and a monster, Tahir. Tahir was super sweet and was an alpha that seemed to cherish Kaia and wanted to make her his mate. We get to see her first heat and what happened between them. I wish there was more drama or a little danger in the story though. I'll be eagerly awaiting the next book. This is the first book that I've read from this series, but I'll be going back to read others. I really like these bite size novellas, especially when I'm in a slump. Kaia was running from the village alphas, and heard about the monsters in the mountains. Ta'hir was a young Alpha hoping to get his own omega after seeing others from his tribe. If you're looking for a quick omegaverse with nesting, kn0tting and heat.. this is perfect. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Kaia and Ta'hir...neither one was expecting the other, but fate has brought them together, and they'll let it take its course. Another enjoyable read in this series. Love these possessive Alphas who are total sweethearts to their Omegas.
