Imagine being reunited with an old crush after being shut and trying to save your friend from a kidnapper. You don't have to imagine but you do have to read this book. The author throws Diz and Rico together (or back together) to save her kidnapped friend. Along the way as the action builds, the pair is forced to look at the other in a new way. The relationship build up was cute. At one point, Diz is talking to another friend and alludes to being open for more with Rico.

In Cabrera add one EMT and one hot cop and get a fun story with lots of action and danger. Loved how these two knew each other and teamed up to solve the issue at hand. A fun, quick entertaining story I enjoyed and made me laugh a few times.

Diz got shot Rico was there to make sure she is okay. Diz was glade to see Rico, Diz roommate is missing. So that Rico will help Diz get Hannah back, without any outside help. Diz expresses her true feelings, about how Rico treated Diz around others. When they were both in school.
