But what if I told you that the man she falls in love with is Lord of his castle in the year 1307. This is the story of how Lucy Merriweather finds herself drugged and married to Simon, the sleezoid she thought she cared for, but wanted nothing more than her blood to reverse a curse on the run down castle and his family name. And this is the story of how she awakes in medieval England.

Disappointed with this book, it's very jerky plus the author just does not seem to flow. I like books that I can "see" like a movie, scenes should form in my mind. Here there is nothing like that which I find disconcerting - the story is a good one although a bit over done.

This was an absolutely Amazing Book!! Lucy is from the 20th century, she goes with her Fiance to Scotland, when she realizes what a rotten person he actually is, she tells him she can't marry him. first he gets mad but then asks her if she will pretend to marry her, which turns out to be real. He then tries to kill her, saying her blood will lift the curse on his Castle, but she falls through time to the 1300's..... great story with a happy ending!! I am on to the next book in the series!!
