This box set is fantastic. It begins with a closed-room mystery and goes on to be the reason I love Urban Fantasy. Each book is an individual story that builds an overarching story line, but they do not need each other for the reader to enjoy the separate tales. The characters are highly individual supernaturals and each is fascinating both within their story and as part of the larger group. Please read this; you won't regret it.
