I don't know what took me so long to pick up this author but now I am hooked. I loved this. Now I can’t get enough. Jasper is just the sweetest and I fell in love with Tony and Rhys and now I need more Moretti's. Who doesn't love a man dedicated to take care of his woman and make sure she has what she needs? Now add in two and I was in book boyfriend heaven. I would have loved an epilogue but I’m hoping we will see more of them in future stories.

4 Star Review Down and Dirty (Italian Stallions #1) by Mari Carr Mari Carr is a relatively new author to me. I was intrigued when I read the blurb for Down and Dirty and was excited to read. If this book is anything to go by then Ms. Carr’s Italian Stallions series is off to a good start. I love single parent stories, so when you have one single mum, Jess, an adorable little boy, Jasper, and two hot men Tony Moretti and Dr. Rhys Beaumont, you know you are in for an entertaining and hot ride. I really felt for Jess, all she wanted to do was provide for her son and when they find themselves homeless, she is torn.. When best friends Tony and Rhys offer waitress, Jess a place to stay she is initially wary but with no where else to go she reluctantly accepts. Complications arise when lines are crossed and attraction as well as feelings between involved. Can they make this complicated relationship work? Or will someone be hurt in the process? There was plenty of heart, humour and steam in this book and the secondary characters, such as Aunt Berta made for some laugh out loud moment and I adored Berta, she is a great character and very entertaining.

Oh, this was a GREAT start to this new series! Two best friends, one single mom, one cute kid, and an aunt Berta. Jess was someone you liked right away, you felt for her and the circumstances she ended up. Back luck seemed to follow her at every turn, never allowing her to catch a break. Enter the break in the form of one large and hunky doctor, and large and determined Italian construction worker. She is ridiculously independent; they are confirmed bachelors. But as this trio moves from casual acquaintances to roommates, things heat up. Trouble is, none of them know what they are doing or are good at expressing their feelings. Until they finally do <3 Bonus part, we get not one, but potentially two Italian families full of men who need their HEA’s 😉
