4.5 Stars This is the first book in the Treoir Dragon Chronicles of the Belador World series and it’s not about any one specific character but it’s telling the story of what’s happening in the Bellator world right now. It’s an exciting, action packed adventure with totally amazing characters. There’s a lot happening but everything has its place and makes sense. Also, it ends with a huge cliffhanger BUT the books will be released monthly until the series is complete. I can’t wait for the next book!

This is the prequel to the Belador World series and it was so very engaging. The world building is incredible and so detailed making it way too easy to fall into. The emotions run the gamut from heartbreaking grief to hope and then there is the pure evil of Queen Maeve. I loved Daegan’s character and Ms Love does an awesome job of making him so well rounded after all he has endured. The introduction of Casidhe is also very interesting and I am looking forward to how it will play out between her and Daegan.

Dianna Love and dragons? Yes, please! The Belador World is one of my favorites and I was jumping with joy when I found out Love was going to be diving into dragons. It's a dream come true. And to have so many of them come out so soon...*swoon* This first book of the spin-off series in the Belador world perfectly recaps all that we have experienced so far. It's not all crammed out in some sort of summary in the first chapter. It's all strategically placed within a masterful story, which is just how I like it. So, if you haven't read any of the other Belador books, I think you would be fine starting here. Poor Daegan. I feel like I just need to say that. After reading more about him and his past in this book, I think he is going to be one of the most complex characters out there. I long for what's to come, but at the same time, I'm dreading it as well. His story is not going to take him down Easy Street.
