Mr. Mazzalongo writes with a true desire to share the Gospel. However, his understanding of Catholic belief is cursory and ignorant. If a Protestant conversed with an educated Catholic following his advice, they would be torn to shreds. Mr. Mazzalongo's pamphlet is designed to feast off of uneducated, non-devout Catholics. At best, it comes across as an ignorant Protestant sharing their concerns about their Catholic siblings in Christ. At worst, it sounds like an ignoramus spewing anti-Catholic rhetoric to their misinformed congregation.
