Drawn to a beautiful cover and a compelling plot, What We Never Say is an immersive, empowering and wonderful read. his book has memorable characters with distinct traits; their evolution is remarkable, heartfelt and uplifting. At times, I found the setting of the scenes a bit sudden, and I felt that I was supposed to have a pre-existing background of the characters as the book comes from the Love, Only Better world. Thank you to NetGalley and Smith Publicity for giving me an ARC.

Stout keeps the tension high while keeping the characters light. Once again tackling a complex and misunderstood social issue, she addresses the reality of workplace abuse with sensitivity, but lets the story create a momentum toward vindication. Satisfying read! Engaging characters, fast-moving story....What's not to love?
