About this ebook

For twenty-five years, The Polar Express has been a treasured holiday classic. To commemorate this special anniversary, a lavish gift edition has been created. The set includes a silver foil border, a CD audio recording read by Liam Neeson, a note from Chris Van Allsburg, and a silvery keepsake "All Aboard" ornament.
Awarded the prestigious Caldecott Medal in 1986, The Polar Express has sold more than 7 million copies, become a classic holiday movie, and been translated into stage productions that take place across the United States during the holiday season.

I am so glad I ended up buying the google play ebook around Christmas time. It had a message that said this ebook was scanned pages of the original book so I wasn't sure what to expect but I think it looks so good. It is amazing how good they have gotten the books to look on a digital file. It does say it's recommended for tablets & after seeing it on my phone I can see why. If it let me read it in landscape mode it would be no problem but you can still zoom in & out to read the words better but for some reason it only opens in portrait view.

The resolution of this book is terrible. I can hardly read it on my tablet. It also doesn't fit onto my screen properly. This may have been forgivable if there was a read aloud setting but it's not enabled :-( . I really have nothing positive to say about this purchase.

Save your money! Poorly done and hard to read, have to zoom ever page to read rather than the page filling the screen. Lazy development of the book.
