Entertaining Stories Pets in our lives give us comfort and companionship. Sometimes they can bring us together. I received a free copy of Pets in Space to read and review. I found all the stories entertaining and a great way to be introduced to some authors I had not read before. S.E. Smith’s A Mate for Matrix was a heartwarming story with interesting characters and plot. I look forward to reading more of her books. Susan Grant is a favorite author of mine and she shines again with Stray. It is a good stand alone story but ties in well with her latest book The Champion of Baresh. I enjoyed all the stories by Veronica Scott, Pauline B. Jones, Laurie A. Green, Alexis Glynn Latner, Lea Kirk, Carysa Locke and am looking forward to reading more from them.

Loved it well written and I'm currently trying to find the books from the matching series. But these stories are standalone and sufficient length that makes this great value for money just wish that Google play books have all the books referenced at the end of each story. My favorites were a mate for matrix, stray and starship:stowaway

About the author

S.E. Smith is a New York Times, USA TODAY, International, and Award-Winning Bestselling author of science fiction, romance, fantasy, paranormal, and contemporary works for adults, young adults, and children. She enjoys writing a wide variety of genres that pull her readers into worlds that take them away.

Susan Grant is a New York Times/USA Today bestselling, RITA Award-winning author of science fiction, time travel, and paranormal romance. As a jet pilot and global traveler, she finds plenty of inspiration to create action-packed stories featuring strong women and honorable men.

USA Today bestselling author Cara Bristol has been the no. 1 best seller in science fiction romance, bdsm erotica, and holiday fiction on Amazon. She’s the author of two science fiction romance series featuring tough alpha heroes: the Cy-Ops Sci-fi Romance cyborg series and the Breeder science fiction romance series, which emphasize character-driven stories written with a touch of humor and sizzling chemistry between the hero and heroine. Cara lives in Missouri with her own alpha hero, her husband. She has had many pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, ducks, tortoises, and fish. T

Veronica Scott is an award winning author of science fiction romance and adventure set in the far future; the USA Today Happily Ever After SciFi Encounters columnist; a Star Trek Red Shirt in “The City on The Edge of Forever” audiobook and the proud recipient of a NASA Exceptional Service Award, who has two cats present at all times to oversee her books.

Pauline Baird Jones never liked reality, so she writes books. She likes to wander among the genres, rampaging like Godzilla, because she does love peril mixed in her romance.

Laurie A. Green is a three-time RWA Golden Heart® finalist, an award-winning author, and a science fiction romance enthusiast who founded the SFR Brigade community of writers, which now has over 900 members.

Alexis Glynn Latner writes speculative fiction and belong to the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America (SFWA).  She also works at the Rice University Library in Houston, Texas and teaches creative writing through Rice University's School of Continuing Studies. When not taking flights of the mind - i.e., working on books and stories - her favorite activity is flying sailplanes. She has a private pilot glider rating. The sky always beckons.

Lea Kirk loves to transport her readers to other worlds with her romances of science fiction and time travel. Her fascination with science fiction began at six years old when her dad introduced her to the original Star Trek TV series. She fell in love with the show, and was even known to run through her parents' house wearing the tunic top of her red knit pantsuit and her white go-go boots pretending to be Lieutenant Uhura. By nine years old she knew she wanted to be a writer, and in her teens she read her first romance and was hooked.  She lives in California with her wonderful hubby of twenty-six years and their five kids (aka, the nerd herd).  You can find out more about Lea at her website, leakirk.com, or on Facebook and Twitter.

Carysa Locke is the pseudonym for writing team Carysa Locke and MaLea Holt, two best friends who have been creating imaginary worlds together for more than twenty years. The worlds they write in exist first as roleplaying games, where much of the bare bones of world building and character development take place. Carysa is a high school English teacher, and MaLea helps support families with special needs children. You might say, they work as super heroes in their day jobs!
