This is the 1st C. Anderson book I read & it was marvelous! ! Got me hooked on her (previously read mostly Nora Roberts, Jude Devereaux, & Ann Rule who has sadly left us...). I now own EVERY book she's written but THIS BOOK will always be my favorite written by her. Not too many well~known authors write about handicapped strong women but she's written more than just this one & they are all great (the heroes in quite a few are from same 2 families & BOY! wish I'd met any one of them when I was young and single! ) Give this book a chance & you'll be hooked also! Good reading!

Read this book years ago ....I just read it again ...I totally fell in love with this couple and they appear in more of her books read it !!!! you will Always remember it.... and reread it many times ....it touches your heart !!!!
