Iris Everlee has finally mastered (sort of) three of her spell crafts, but control over her newest craft, nero (water) craft remains elusive. In fact, it has yet to fully spark into being. This could prove to be a problem as the spellcasters that are in charge demand that Iris report to the Iron Grove so they can test her control over her crafts. Keir, Bob the imp, her sister, Marigold, & all her friends have her back always, but if Iris can't pass the tests set before her, the results will be disastrous. Wowzers!! What a fun, interesting, and fast-paced page-turner. Once I started reading this book, I could not put it down until I was finished. There's heat and heart, danger and intrigue, sabotage and friendly help, and trying to discern truth from lies. I enjoyed this book so much, I was kinda bummed when it ended (especially as I realized this is the next to last book in the series). Spell Over Troubled Water stands alone, but I recommend reading all the books for maximum enjoyment

Iris has made a good start on controlling three of her powers but the fourth one still eludes her. To make matters even more tricky she is now expected to prove she can control all of her powers and is worthy of them. There is plenty of action and I love the character development as the series goes along.

Iris & the rest of the gang Just when she thinks she's getting control over her powers--sort of--The PTB (powers that be) decide she just might have too much and needs to prove her control. Okaaay. Except it isn't. The test isn't going to be easy--especially with those working against her. Plenty of action, trust issues, great characters both good and bad, as well as action and a page-turning story you won't want to miss. Will she prove her ability and protect those important to her? Will
