I suggest reading the 1St few chapters and the last couple that's all the story the book has the rest is jus description of land and animals

Cat Birt! You missed at least two amazing encounters with camps on their travel back to Jondalar's cave. I've read this book many times and it still keeps me up late at night reading. I wish you would try again!

I have read this entire series no less than 25 times each hard covered book. I started this series back when it was first published. I am Mrs.Auel 's biggest fan.
