Strangers are never to be trusted and trust has no price. Alfred an average teenager living with his uncle is a reject from school and has nothing to look forward to. But one day a mysterious man offered him and his uncle to steal the excalibur from his boss's office and gave a wopping 500,000 dollars to do so. but what they dont know is that they put the sword into the wrong hands and now the chase is on to hunt down that man and find out the reasons for its existence.the author really got the reader engaged to the point where putting down the book isn't an option. The author made a clear picture of the events in the story and made it sort of like "your own mini theater occuring in your mind".the best scene was when Alfred was getting chased down the highway by black Suzuki motorbikes that were shooting wholes in his Ferrari. I didn't like the ending though since it didn't wrap the story up conclusively and still left me some unanswered questions like what happened to him after the cave scene? And which side was his uncle on?. I greeaaaattly suggest this book to those who seek an adventure and mysterious occurences.

The first time I had picked up this book was on accident. My teacher was rushing us out of the library and I didn't want to go home without a book so...I just took it. Let me tell you. Was.Worth.It. I couldn't put this book down! It had a nice build up to the climatic action and the main story line. Also, I love Alfred. We don't have much in common beside being overweight. But, he wasn't a "basic" character that I've grown to dislike over the years. Anyways, I recommend this for kids and adults.

I have already read the book a few years ago but I just want to say you will love this book if you read it. I could not put it down. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.
