a friends with benefits story that is exceptional in the fact that both parties are very mature in how they tackled their very unexpected 'surprise', and how they dealt with the tragedy afterwards. I love how the author wrote the story in such a way that didn't demean the benefit arrangement and beyond it all true friendship remained where care and respect rose beyond the sexual aspect of the relationship. In its ashes, love and commitment to each other shone through at the end. They started with an attraction that was supposed to be temporary but unexpectedly found a love that forged them through life's storms.

I love it! It's got all the feels. Happy, sad, the uh oh's the oh no's. I sure hope they get the HEA they are looking for after a tragedy that you don't see coming. I honestly had to put it down after said tragedy, it was heart wrenching. I did fall in love with Walker though 😍.
