I bought book after finishing the first one which I found to be pretty epic. This book was a slight let down. It wasn't as interesting as the first. There were interesting bits to it, but it felt sort of flat. Now with that said, if you've read the first one and enjoyed it. You should definitely read this one too, else the 3rd book just won't make a lot of sense :P
