oh what a delicious and tempting little appetizer to Mason and Charlottes main course! In just a few chapters Amelia Wilde paints Mason and Charlotte perfectly and their chemistry is all sorts of push and pull. Mason is driven by revenge and when he sees an opportunity he takes it. No shame, no second guessing, he wants Charlotte on the chopping block for her family's mistakes and some hidden reason why he hates her father. Charlotte is determined to help her family and wants to put an end to their crumpling lives. With her head held high and her dignity driving her on she puts herself in the firing range of the ruthless CEO of Phoenix Enterprises and to her despair he's so much more than she could have ever anticipated. He wants to bring her and Van Kempt Industries to their knees, in that order. Who will fall harder in this game of car and mouse. Mason wants Charlotte and not just for one night. Is she willing to give up herself to save her family name? Oh the delicious toture!

An intriguing prologue to a new series and what a teaser it was. Mason is ruthless and devious and yet loves his family and will do anything to keep them together. Charlotte is his target, although it was supposed to be her father. Charlotte loves her family, but I am not sure they are worth the misery they have put her through to say nothing of what she is required to do now. Net Worth is the first book in a trilogy that is bound to blow your socks off if The Proposition is anything to go by.

This prologue gives you a delectable taste and an enticing peek at what you can expect from this new series. A smartly crafted and potent brew of vengeance, desperation, secrets and desire serves as a highly volatile fuel for what looks to be one irresistibly hot and twisty tale. Charlotte and Mason have a steamy and combustible chemistry that is just waiting for that one single spark to set it free. As for me, I fully intend to set back and enjoy the burn! Can not wait to get my hands on Net Worth. This is my frank, freely posted review.
