古倫神父先從輔導青年的經驗中談到，青年有哪些生命的渴望，我們教會應該如何回應。 古倫神父除了靈修輔導之外，也用25年的時間投入在青年靈性與生命培育事工。 當時古倫神父透過教會幾個重要的節期：待降節、聖誕節、除夕、大齋期與復活節等主題的避靜與生命體驗課程，把靈修與生活實踐結合，讓本來遠離傳統教會生活的青年們再次發現信仰的寶藏。 他自己發展了許多有創意的活動，包括透過靜態的聖言頌禱、默想、默觀來作自我覺察與合一操練，到動態的深層心理學讀經情境模擬、團體互動與創意禮儀設計，這些結合了本篤靈修的精神、修士的生活操練與靈修陪伴的心靈活動，讓年輕人深入地檢視內在的情緒與傷口、找到生命的定位，探索自己的靈修與信仰路徑，與同伴互動分享並激發出自由的生命力。
