It is fantastic to see a book published in 1831 *on-line*, in regard to French Polynesia, an often difficult area of research for the amateur.
Whilst it is simple enough to find various listings to early/earlier works about this area, it is good to see something readily available.
I am glad the NLA - National Library of Australia have some original works of John Davies (1772-1855) listed in detail on their Website....but not online. Then again, I am certain it is only lack of Government funding that leads to such trivial but annoying issues - hardly the fault of the institution itself.
