Egomaniac by Vi Keeland is a standalone romance told in dual POV between two of my favorite characters to date. Emerie is the Psychologist and marriage counselor to Drew's jaded divorce attorney. In this case - opposites really do attract! There hasn't been a book Vi Keeland has written that I haven't adored. She is up there with my favorite authors and definitely a must-read for me. I truly feel like with relationships and people in general some people just click and for me some writers just click. Their writing style, the stories they tell, the characters they create - click, click, click!!! Emerie is a strong female in a bad spot and the typically jaded and closed off Drew pretty much comes to her rescue. In the end they end up rescuing each other and making each other better. From the best meet-cute yet, to the journey they both take to get their happily ever after, this book is a gem. Enjoy!

I could not put this book down! It was that good! First, the cover...damn! Next Drew Jagger...double damn. I think I have fallen in love! Drew is a divorce attorney. Ever since his ex-wife screwed him over, he does not believe in happy ever afters. Emerie Rose is a psychologist specializing in helping relationships and only believes in happy endings. These two should not be meant for each other but they sure were. When Emerie first meets Drew it was so awesome and funny....you knew this was going to be the laugh out loud type of story and Vi Keeland does not disappoint. When Drew feels sorry for Emerie, he offers her a compromise...they can share the office until she can find another place. What Drew didn't expect was to fall hard for Emerie. I just loved how her light slowly brought Drew out from his darkness. Of course there always has to be some drama and that came from Drew's ex-wife, Alexa. Man was she a real biotch and she made his life a living hell. At least he had his son, Beck to make dealing with Alexa worthwhile. I loved Beck. He was such a sweet and caring kid and it was obvious he got all of that from Drew. The path Emerie and Drew had to go on to find their happy ending was funny, sexy and even emotional at times but it was so wonderful. I highly recommend this great book!

AMAZING! Marriage counselor Emerie Rose and divorce attorney Drew M. Jagger meet on New Year's Eve when he finds Emerie in his office. She believes she scored a deal when she rented the Park Avenue office, only to find out that she was victim of a scam and Drew is the rightful owner. The attraction between Drew and Emerie is immediate. So when Drew, feeling sorry for Emerie's situation, proposes that they share the office until she can find a new place, Emerie says yes. Will they fight their attraction? What secrets is Drew hiding? What happened to him in the past that made him avoid relationships? I loved Egomaniac! The story is amazing and captivated me from the first page. The banter between Drew and Emerie is hilarious. And the sexy scenes? OMG! So HOT! I loved the little drama and finding what happened to Drew. And Emerie's story? So beautiful! Emerie Rose is a marriage counselor. She loves her job and loves helping people. She moved from Oaklahoma to New York because of Baldwin, her crush. She is very sweet, kind, and a little naïve. Drew M. Jagger is a hot, cocky, arrogant, dirty mouthed, divorce attorney. He doesn't do relationships. He has been burned in the past and from what he sees at work, love isn't worth the heartache. Vi Keeland gives us, once again, an incredible book with an amazing story and great characters. Egomaniac is a sexy and funny book that will capture your heart!
