Deb Kinnard started writing at age ten, frustrated because Bonanza had no preteen girl with her own horse. From there she progressed to short stories and dreadful poetry. In college, she gained two degrees in health care and spent time observing hippies, basketball stars, el-ed majors and other strange species. While raising two active girls and cherishing her husband, she’s enjoyed a career that encompasses Spanish translation, volunteer work at a crisis lines, years in various ERs, and a day job at a big Chicago teaching hospital. Deb keeps busy with reading, needlework, the guitar, and travel whenever possible. She prefers warm places with plenty of ocean and tall, cool fruity drinks.
